This section provides a step-by-step guide for creating a Site via the web interface. Before adding a machine, it’s necessary to create a Asset Type.
- Log in to the web page.
- Select “Asset Type” under the “Settings” section in the left-hand side menu.
- Add the Asset Type and click “Save.”
- Next, select “Asset” from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click the CREATE button to register a new asset.
This opens the Create Asset panel on the right-hand side.
6. Fill in Mandatory Fields
As Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of key asset details:
- Asset Title – Unique and descriptive name
- Asset ID – Auto-generated or manually created
- Asset Type – Choose from a predefined list (e.g., Machine, Tool)
- Site – Select your current site (only sites you manage will be visible)
7. Configure Additional Details
You can further specify:
- Criticality – Normal, Critical, or Low (based on operational importance)
- Status – Active, Offline, Do Not Track, Draft
- Vendor – Supplier or manufacturer name
- Description – Brief summary of the asset
- Manufacturer – Equipment brand or model
- Manufactured Date – Select via date picker
8. Click Publish when complete. The asset will now appear on your dashboard.
