At times, you may want to include questions in an SOP to assess technicians’ understanding of the process. This is particularly important in workflows where technicians should only undertake maintenance or inspection tasks after understanding the procedure.
Below are the answer types for capturing SOP questions:
- Short Text: Technicians can provide brief text responses, typically one or two lines long.
- Long Text: Technicians can enter detailed descriptions, involving multiple sentences or paragraphs.
- Email: Used to capture contact information or escalations.
- Website: For responses containing website URLs.
- Date and Time: Automatically captures the date and time, useful for tracking completion.
- Number: Allows technicians to input numerical answers.
- Dropdown: Users select a single option from a list of choices.
- Multiple Choice: Users select one correct answer from the provided options.
- Checkbox: Users can select multiple options, useful for scenarios with flexible or multiple answers.”
