The Playlist Module allows users to compile and control a sequence of content, like images, videos, and SOPs, for playback on paired screens. With flexible time settings and an easy drag-and-drop interface, you can create dynamic and structured playlists to streamline communication across your shop floors.
Creating a New Playlist #
To create a new playlist:
- Click on the “Create” button at the top right of the Playlist screen.
- Enter a name for your playlist (e.g., “Assembly Line Updates – July”)
Add Content to the Playlist #
Once your playlist is created:
- Click “+ Add Content” inside the playlist editor.
- The system will open your Library with all available media items.
- Use filters to find content
You can add:
- Images
- Videos
- SOPs
Set Time Duration for Playback #
Once your content is added, you can set the duration for which each item should be displayed on the screen.

- Images and SOPs: Click the time icon next to the item to adjust display time (e.g., increase to 20 seconds).
- Videos: These will automatically play till the end.
Preview the Playlist #
Before publishing, you can preview how your playlist will play on the screen:
- Click on the “Preview” button to simulate content flow.
- Check sequence, time transitions, and SOP navigation.
Publish the Playlist #
Once all content is added and durations are set:
- Click “Publish” to finalize the playlist.
- The playlist will now be available for assignment to any paired TV screen.
Assign Playlists to Screens #
To display a playlist on a screen:
- Go to the Screen Module.
- Choose the screen (or screen group) where you want to display content.
- Select the Playlist tab.
- Pick your published playlist.
Manage and Search Playlists #
- Use filters to search for playlists efficiently:
- Status (Draft/Published)
- Tags
- Created By
- Users
- Groups
Additional Playlist Actions #
On the playlist listing screen, click the “⋮” options icon to perform:
- Duplicate – Copy an existing playlist to reuse or modify.
- Edit – Make changes to an existing playlist’s content or duration.
- Delete – Permanently remove the playlist from your organization’s records.
How Content Appears on the TV #
Once a playlist is assigned to a screen:
- Content will play in the set order and with the defined duration.
Offline Playback Support #
If your screen temporarily loses internet access:
- Cached playlist content will continue to display.
- Once reconnected, the screen will sync and display the latest updates.
