This section provides a step-by-step guide for creating a Site via the web interface. Before adding a machine, it’s necessary to create a Asset Type.

1. Log in to the web page.
2. Select “Asset Type” under the “Settings” section in the left-hand side menu.
3. Add the Asset Type and click “Save.”
4. Next, select “Asset” from the menu on the left-hand side.
5. Click the CREATE button to register a new asset.
   This opens the Create Asset panel on the right-hand side.

6. Fill in Mandatory Fields

As Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of key asset details:

• Asset Title – Unique and descriptive name
• Asset ID – Auto-generated or manually created
• Asset Type – Choose from a predefined list (e.g., Machine, Tool)
• Site – Select your current site (only sites you manage will be visible)

7. Configure Additional Details

You can further specify:

• Criticality – Normal, Critical, or Low (based on operational importance)
• Status – Active, Offline, Do Not Track, Draft
• Vendor – Supplier or manufacturer name
• Description – Brief summary of the asset
• Manufacturer – Equipment brand or model
• Manufactured Date – Select via date picker

8. Click Publish when complete. The asset will now appear on your dashboard.
