To connect a display device, download the Plutomen DisplayX app on your TV or any supported screen. A 6-digit code will appear on the display. Log in to Plutomen Workflow on the web, navigate to the Screen section, enter the 6-digit code, and click Continue. Your screen will now be successfully paired with your Plutomen account.

6.1 Assigning Content to Screens #

To assign content:

  1. Navigate to Library, SOP, or Playlist module
  2. Upload or select existing content (Image, Video, or SOP)

Use the Filter Bar to search by content type, date, or keywords.

  • Select desired content
  • Assign it to the target screen(s)

SOPs are shown 10 seconds per page by default

6.2 Managing Paired Screens #

Within the Screen Module, you can view and control all paired screen.

6.2.1 Viewing Device Info #

  • Device name, status, and last activity are visible.

6.2.2 Renaming Screens #

  • Click the edit icon to rename a screen (e.g., “Line 1 Display”, “QA Room TV”)

6.3 Understanding Screen Statuses #

“Waiting for Content” means no file is assigned; default splash screen is displayed.

6.4 Replacing or Deleting Screens #

  • If unresponsive, regenerate a new code and re-pair.
  • To temporarily disable, click “Deactivate”.
  • To remove permanently, click “Delete”.

6.5 Organizing Screens into Groups #

Use groups to organize and manage screens efficiently across multiple locations or teams.

Steps to Create a Group:

  • Click on “+ New Group”
  • Name the group and add relevant screens

Benefits of Grouping:

  • Assign content to all screens in a group at once
  • Organize by department, location, or use case

6.6 Access Control for Screens #

You can assign specific screens or groups to users based on their role or department.

This prevents unauthorized content updates and ensures structured control.
