Sections and steps are a good way to structure a SOP, making it easy for a reader to follow in sequence or to navigate to a specific topic of interest.

A section serves as a broad topic and essentially acts as a heading. Within a section, multiple steps can be nested. However, steps can also stand alone; they do not necessarily need to be nested within a section.

Steps to add section

  1. Log in to the web app.
  2. Access ‘SOP’ from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the SOP.
  4. Click on ‘+ Add Section’ from the Section and Step navigation panel on the left.
  5. A new section will be added within the navigation panel, with an option to add a heading in the SOP section.
  6. Adding the heading will reflect in real-time on the navigation panel as well.
