# Chat

In Plutomen Connect, experts can leverage the chat feature to exchange messages, share documents, and collaborate with participants seamlessly. The chat is available both during live calls and as a standalone communication tool, giving experts the flexibility to support users even outside active sessions.

When multiple participants are engaged in a call, the chat automatically transitions into a group chat, allowing all participants to engage in real-time discussions and share relevant documents.

It's important to note that **guest users can actively participate in chat discussions. However, they won't have access to the chat records post the call.**
